Nasi Bancakan

Kue Balok

Ow, yea baby! I was in Bandung last March and happened to visit Nasi Bancakan, a rustic restaurant in Bandung. The photo above is Kue Balok, or translated as Brick Cake, and a cup of thick hot tea. All food were served in rustic tin plates and cups. How lovely.

The brick cake was good. The taste and texture were rather similar with those of Brudel‘s, but brick cake was baked in a copper pan on charcoals. Yes, charcoals. How lovely!!

Visit there. You will never ever, ever, regret it. I mean, EVER.

  1. Kemaren ada lho ulasan nya di acara tivi – ada Maudy Kusnaedi makan disana….
Ternyata mba Riana udah sampe sana duluan…
    Mupeng berat nih…😛

  2. Memang enak sih, tapi kalo sempet lagi ke bandung cobain sate/gule kambing di belakang LAN, kan masih sekitar situ tuh… tapi jangan lewat j 13, abis, ga akan kebagian (tergantung kalo lagi lucky mah bisa wae sih…) Enak, empuk, porsinya cukup n murah meriah (1 porsi nasi + 1/2 porsi gule + 5 tusuk sate polos/tanpa lemak = 17 ribu, ga sampe 20 ribu deh pokoke).. trus gule nya bisa mesen, mau otak, ato kaki ato rusuk ato daging dll.. cobain ya… (bukan sales nya tukang sate lho..)

  3. eh, sekali lagi deh… cobain juga makanan bandung utara di punclut. ada yang buka 24 jam, 7 hari seminggu, lokasinya di depan tower RRI di sana.
